- Antons Gowt Meet & Greet
A good day was had by all at the meet and greet at Antons Gowt Pet Food Supplies on Saturday 26th March. Although the day was quiet we made £52.32 for the hounds at the sanctuary and hopefully a few forever homes will come of it as well. Alfie our resident big boy won many hearts during the day and is now back in his kennel waiting patiently for the phone to ring and offers to home him to start pouring in. Sharing the limelight with Alfie were some of the lucky greyhounds and lurchers who have already found their forever homes and came to give Alfie moral support. A massive thank you to our lovely volunteers, Pam, John, Keyleigh-Storm and our Trustee Graham and a special thank you to Caronne and all her friendly staff at Antons Gowt Pet Food Supplies who made the day enjoyable, friendly and successful.
ALSO – A big thank you to kennel assistant Debbie for organising and running the event from all the dogs, trustees and other staff.
2. Tombola at Johnson’s Garden Centre
A really big thank you goes also to Tricia Haynes and her dog Brodie who ran a Tombola over the Easter weekend at Johnsons Garden Centre, Wainfleet Road, Boston. The tombola raised the magnificent sum of £184.38 which Tricia has very kindly made up to £200. Many, many thanks Tricia, from everyone – 4 legs and two at the Sanctuary.
3. Meet & Greet at Ken’s Corn Store at Taverham, Norwich
Once again our long standing supporter Graham Fountain held a meet and greet at Ken’s Corn Store, Taverham, Norwich. Graham raised the magnificent sum of £160. Thank you Graham for all your support.
