Alford shop charity fashion evening.

Fashion came to Alford on the evening of Friday 6th September.

Janette and her team of volunteers at our Alford shop organised an autumn fashion show to highlight the autumn range of clothing that will be on sale in the next few weeks.

The show was a huge success and raised over £250 for the Fen Bank greyhounds.

Christina is wearing a beautiful red dress with black belt. Red is making a come back this autumn.
The lovely Olivia is wearing a beautiful satin ballgown with blue satin ruffle shoes.  Sparkle is very much in as we head toward the party season.
Julia is modelling an Amaranto brown and cream spotted blouse and brown skirt, M&S fake fur coat and a 1940’s style handbag.
Karen is modelling a beautiful Jacques Vert two piece suite with a purple hat – brown described as ‘Rocky Road’ is very much in vogue this season.
Geoffrey looking very dapper in a navy blazer, Crew Clothing formal shirt and khaki trousers.
Following the red theme, Glesney is wearing a beautiful pillar box red coat.
Robin, our lovely compere getting in on the action!  He was absolutely superb and the audience loved him.
Sue (from the Fen Bank kennels) is wearing a beautiful Yolk yellow top (again, in vogue this Autumn)
Joan (one of the shops loyal volunteers) was asked to step in at the last minute and is looking lovely in a grey cord tunic dress with purple and white scarf over black leggings.
Christina with Peter, who was our photographer on the night.

We would like to make a special mention for Robin the compere, Peter the photographer and Faith, our lovely make-up artist.  Helpers on the night were Bev, from the Spilsby shop, Lois and Janet, who both baked cakes to sell on the evening and Audrey who was in charge of the Raffle. Also Jan Lilley, who gave a speech on behalf of the Sanctuary, explaining the work that we do and Sue (R), from the kennels,  who very kindly auctioned off her greyhound shirt on the night and made £20!  And of course everyone who came and gave generously on the night to make it a success!

Everyone concerned very kindly gave their time for free to make the evening such a wonderful event.

Thank you all so very much.
