PADDY
|
It’s with great sadness that John and I had to make the decision to help our beloved boy Paddy over Rainbow Bridge. When we homed him in February 2012 at the age of 10 after his former mum could no longer keep him, we knew that we probably wouldn’t have too long with him. However, we feel lucky to have had him for over 3 years.
After I lost Arrow in 2011, I never dreamed that any other dog could measure up to him being such a lovely, well behaved, well mannered sweet boy but I was wrong because Paddy was perfect. He never put a paw wrong, not in all the time we had him. He used to meet the regular gang every morning on his walk comprising of a labrador, 2 spaniels, a lurcher, collie and various terriers and best friend ‘Leo’ the kitten who would wait on his garden wall to touch noses with him.
Pad was such a gentle soul who had many fans both two and four legged. He was my shadow who had to follow me everywhere. I never knew a dog who loved to take his toy cat to bed and cuddle him like a child would cuddle a teddy bear. He was our big stripey cuddle monster and we miss him so much. No pain over the bridge, sleep tight sweetheart.
