MALARKY
|MALARKY (2002 to 14th May 2015)
Malarky came to me after his previous owner,
who thought the world of him, had to give him up. He was a handsome big black dog and soon settled into my one bedroomed bungalow, almost filling it! He was very laid back about most things but really didn’t like having to go into kennels although I had found him the best I could, even though it involved a 90 mile round trip! When I was unable to walk him due to hip and knee replacements he had a small army of walkers who took him out and about. His favourite walk was through an old churchyard full of interesting smells and squirrels. He often went out with a Rottweiler – what a pair they made!
Debbie, his first Mum, kept in touch and used to send him emails. Malarky finally crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 13. Much loved and much missed.
Malarky’s previous owner Debbie adds: It broke my heart to have to rehome Larky. Fen Bank found him the perfect ‘other mummy’ in Sheila and we always kept in contact. Larky loved me to lay on the floor with him and he would rub his head all over my hair, bless him. We loved him VERY much. A darling, handsome, huge dog with a lot of love to give to those around him. He gave his heart to both Sheila and I.
